Beginning with a love for people and a passion for travel, Amazing Destinations was born in 2007, established by Cathy Rodnite (Owner) and Steve Meyerson (Vice President of Operations). Some of our first trips included Luncheon Cruises, Historical Tours, and Broadway Shows. We take great pride in that, from these humble beginnings, Amazing Destinations has grown to become one of the top privately-owned tour and motorcoach companies on the East Coast. By 2014, we had grown an amazing 60% and started offering services to our Senior Centers with exclusive events. We began providing tours to individuals, as well as air, land, and sea vacations. From 5,250 travelers, we now service over 20,000 travelers per year!
Amazing Destinations is a Long Island, New York, based company, specializing in group motorcoach travel for groups of all ages and sizes. We’ve consistently received rave reviews and repeat bookings from our diverse, loyal clientele, including numerous wonderful senior citizen groups, church and adult groups, as well as spectacular student groups from the Tri-State area!
We offer one-day and multi-day tour packages, air, land, and sea vacations, shuttle service, airport transfers, as well as charters to and from anywhere you need. Our tours include casino trips, college tours, sightseeing tours, lobster/crab feasts at multiple locations, dinner theater shows, Broadway shows, Sight & Sound Theatre shows, and amusement parks, African American Heritage Tours/Historic Tours, one-day cruises, as well as multi-day vacations, and wine-tasting tours are offered. We also offer exclusive yearly senior citizen events at venues including the Spirit of New York, Holiday Hill in Connecticut, and The Brownstone in New Jersey.
As a proud New York State-based and Certified Woman-Owned Business Enterprise, we have been appointed as official vendors of the NYC Department of Education (DOE) and the Housing Authority (NYCHA). Additionally, our team is part of prestigious associations such as the National Tour Association (NTA), the American Bus Association (ABA), and the Faith Travel Association (FTA), and we are Certified Cruise Consultants by Expedia Cruises.
